The 29th Inf Div comprising of the 116th Inf Reg (Stonewall Brigade),
the 29th MP Platoon & the 104th Medical Battalion (Co B).
Who are we ?
We are the 29th Living History Group, a newly formed WWII re-enactment group based in Wales and the West with over 50 years of previous re-enacting experience (mainly in the American Civil War). Set up to portray
the 116th Inf. Reg. (Stonewall Brigade), the 29th MP platoon and the 104th Medical Battalion, which were
just a few units that formed part of the
29th infantry Division.
Our goal is to inform the public of these brave soldiers who fought for our freedom and to honor their memory. Having said that we are a very friendly group and are determined to enjoy ourselves in our chosen hobby.
As we are newly formed we will be only covering living history at this moment in time, but this will change as we grow, moving into battles at a later date. We are willing to help new members with advice as to their uniforms and kit.
